It was on a wonderful warm Summer day, the sky was filled with little clouds, when the Angel collected one after the other of these soft, white clouds. He picked many and piled them up to store them all. Right in time before Christmas, the Angel took all the clouds and built a wreath by stringing the clouds like pearls on a chain. The most comfortable cloud he placed in the middle to sit on blowing the tropet. You can hear the celestial sound only at Christmas, but you can send heavenly greetings with this Angel in the cloudy wreath all the time.

The pewter ornament is on both sides individually painted by hand. Different coloration shows the unique character of Wilhelm Schweizer miniatures.
